【葡新传媒】Guangdong, HK and Macao jointly published a primary school reader,
receiving warm welcome
Recently, Guangdong Education Publishing House of Southern Publishing and
Media Co. Ltd co-published My Home Is in China, a traditional Chinese version
book series on national conditions, with Editora Kai Yuen De Macau and Chung Hwa
Book Co. in Hong Kong, respectively, for primary school students there. The
series enjoy great popularity in their education circles .
The book series, tailored for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students, depict
a historical and vigorous China through six aspects: mountains and rivers, lakes
and seas, festivals, nationalities, roads and cities.
The series are welcomed in Hong Kong, Macao and praised by local
professionals in education field. They said, children are fond of the series
since the books are very interesting with many pictures and articles inside.
Also, youths can learn more about the rich history and current development of
the country.
According to Chief of Guangdong’s Provincial Publicity Department,
extensive exchanges among students, teachers in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao
have been carried out since the publishing of the book series as well as the
establishment of Chinese traditional cultural exchange bases for primary
schools.

series provide a new path to promote Chinese culture and for youths in Hong
Kong, Macao to learn more about the nation and love their country.
